Specific Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior/Mid level Shopify Plus Developer with 2-4 years of experience to join our team onsite at our Head Office in Abbotsford to assist us in delivering top-tier e-commerce solutions and maintaining a strong presence in the digital marketplace. 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain Shopify stores using HTML, CSS, Javascript, Liquid etc.
  • Manage, support and troubleshoot middleware products that interface with our ERP, Apparel21
  • Support integration of third party plugins and integrations into Shopify and other internal systems
  • Be part of a technical team that helps brainstorm and deliver projects in a dynamic changing retail environment
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams including e-commerce managers, marketing, fulfillment and finance departments.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience developing and maintaining e-commerce stores in Shopify Plus.
  • Strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript.
  • Comfortable with Git or similar source control and CI/CD systems.
  • High-level motivation and a demonstrable ability to solve complex problems.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey thoughts and ideas clearly.
  • Exceptional time management abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work well under pressure.

 

Bonus skills:

  1. Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular 
  2. Experience with AWS and general DevOps skills
  3. Familiarity with Jira for project and change management
  4. We use a mixture of Windows dev environment and some Linux boxes so familiarity with CLI based tools is desirable
