This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader to shape and drive our brand's success by implementing strategic sales training initiatives across locations. You will be a pivotal leader who ensures a magical customer experience while developing a high-performing team.
The vibrant Swanston Street store in Melbourne will be your main training base, where you'll conduct much of your hands-on training in a busy, practical environment. However, you’ll also have the opportunity to travel to various retail locations to share your expertise and boost team morale by equipping teams with the skills to uphold customer service sales values and standards.
As Store Manager, you’ll:
- Provide advice and offer styling recommendations to customers
- Drive sales and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Train and recruit great talent into the team
- Create visually appealing store displays
- Manage store administration, operations, and loss prevention
As a Sales Trainer, you’ll:
- Lead strategic sales training programs, coaching team members to enhance customer engagement and sales skills across all locations.
- Enhance sales growth and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) by implementing effective training methods for our retail stores and, at times, travel to other locations.
- Participate in recruiting and developing top talent, building a cohesive, knowledgeable, and motivated team.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has proven retail management experience focusing on strategic sales and team training.
- Is passionate about the gorman brand, styling, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Has a strong ability to coach, motivate, and inspire teams to achieve and surpass sales goals.
- Is adaptable and excited by opportunities to travel to different store locations to support the broader gorman team with sales training strategies.
- Is highly organised, proactive, and ready to contribute to the brand’s ongoing growth and success.
